25 Days of Giveaways - Day 4!

First of all, THANK YOU to Tina at Living Without Sophia and Ellie for putting together the "25 Days of Giveaways".

If you are just now learning of this event, Tina has arranged with several lovely ladies to offer a creative giveaway for 25 consecutive days this Holiday Season. What a wonderful way to share some comfort and 'cyber cheer'.

The Holidays will, no doubt, be extremely difficult for those of us in this babylost community. It is very hard to find joy and peace when we ache so badly to have our babies with us. It is our hope that we can provide some warmth this Holiday season with gifts made with love and a deep understanding.

In reading many of your ideas of how you will be celebrating your Angel's this Holiday Season I realized that ornaments, special momentos, etc. for your trees or otherwise is very popular. So, in keeping with that idea I have created a special ornament to share with you.

Below are some pictures of the one I made for our sweet, Nicholas... (please note the Angel Wings!) Of course, I will personalize your ornament.

To enter, please leave me a comment describing why you would like to win this special ornament. I will chose a name randomly at the end of the day!

Good Luck!

Oh Lea what a beautiful ornament! I would consider myself a very lucky person to be able to add it to my Christmas tree! As we were putting up our tree this past weekend, I felt a little sad in the lack of unique ornaments that we have on our tree and this would be a great addition!

Oh Lea the ornament is just beautiful! This question is hard!! It would mean alot to me to win this wonderful item. Seeing my girls' names always warms my heart and having an ornament that was msde just for them would be a very special thing. Especially since it would be coming from someone who understands the pain & heartache we all have endured. I know, not very original answers, but like I said this is a hard one! xx

This ornament is sooooo cute! I have been struggling finding the perfect ornament to celebrate Elliot this Christmas, I had even blooged about it. The only thing that kept going through my mind while looking was "they don't make a "dead baby's first Christmas" ornament. I know that is morbid, but that's all I could think, they have first everything else!! Anyhoo, this ornament is perfect!

Lea, the ornament is amazing!! It is so unique and unlike anything I've seen in any store. I would love to have an ornament like that to hang on the tree every year. We have our Christmas tree out but still have to decorate it. I think I'm going to make my smaller Christmas tree a special one for my babies.

That is beautiful. It makes me wish I could still celebrate Christmas, but I can't. :(

p.s. I see you are a fellow Canadian.

Oh that is so lovely! I put up the tree last night and realized that I think I'm ready for ornaments for the boys...that's really sweet.

Beautiful ornament and post, Lea. The holidays will be a time of mixed emotion for certain for our family. Special ornaments for the Christmas tree are a great way to honour our angel babies in a very tangible way - and a way that open a door to us sharing the little lives of our little ones with family and friends who come to visit over the holidays as well. (((Hugs)))

Dear Lea,

What a beautiful ornament. Why I would most like to display this ornament on my tree is because it was made with love from another baby lost mama with my beautiful daughter in mind. Anyone who receives it is lucky.

God bless,
Katy

I love this ornament!! I would love to win it because I've got a miniature (3.5 ft) tree dedicated to Mackenzie and I would love something personalized like this to put on it :)

The ornent is beautiful. I don't have any ornaments for Rosemary and it would be great to start her collection with something that has such great energy.

I think this is a great idea. Maybe I'll have a giveaway, too :)
I think everyone would like to win for the same reason, to have something else in memory of their child(ren) this season. I would like to win one for Blumpy. Last year, my family bought lots of ornaments for Morgan, but I don't think they'll to the same for Blumpy. To them, Blumpy was not a baby. But he was so real for us.

Lea, your ornament is beautiful! It would be an honor to win and display it on our tree. All of the ornaments on our tree have specific meaning - we typically don't buy ornaments just because they are cute. We were so looking forward to putting 1 or 2 ornaments on the tree this year for Gracie's first Christmas. As it turns out, we will still be putting ornaments on the tree for Gracie this year and every subsequent year, just not in the manner we had planned. We already have 3 ornaments for her, but 4 seems like a nice, round number. :-)

The ornament is just beautiful. If I won I would put it on my special Peyton tree that we are setting up in the front window. We decided to set a special tree aside just for things that make us think of her, and hope to one day have other children who will help us decorate and remember her at the holidays.

Lea what a beautiful ornament! Its so special to hang something with your babies name on it even though they are not here in person to celebrate with us!

Lea, Please don't enter me to win, as I don't feel it would be fair having won Karen's Stolen Moments Wrap, but I just wanted to comment on the ornaments and tell you how beautiful they are. I have been searching in vain to find something for the tree for Calvin this year. Perhaps I will take a cue from you and make one myself. Simply gorgeous. Hugs

Lea what a perfect giveaway item! I LOVE it! As I have blogged before I feel like the grinch right now. As I drive through my town I see the Christmas decor up & my stomach churns & I find that I dart my eyes away as fast as I can. If you knew me you would know that Christmas time is when I usually turn into the 7 year old I once was...so excited by the lights & anticipation of Christmas morning. The food the family, the sounds the smells...this year everything seems so dull. Anyways we usually have our decor up the Saturday after Thanksgiving but we are watiting until this weekend. A few friends have given us ornaments in the past few days & I find myself finally "OK" with putting up the tree now that I can add something pertaining to Janessa to it. Anyways I think your item will lift the spirit of whoever will recieve it. We have lost our babies & are left without many momentos. Every item recieve of our babies brings us some comfort.

What a beautifully made ornament. I know there isn't a market for babies that didn't make it for their first Christmas. We have definitely struggled with what to get Adelle, since all our kids get one ornament every year. Thanks for hosting this!

Lea, I just have to have that beautiful ornament for our tree! It would mean twice as much to me, reminding me of both Leila and Nicholas, reminding me to say prayers for all of us walking this rough road.

Oh, Lea, this is so beautiful. You are so creative, kind, and generous!
I just finished putting together an entire tree for Sophie and Aiden, and this ornament would be perfect :) I also am going to a candlelight ceremony where bereaved parents can bring an ornament to hang on the big tree-you can bring a new one each year or just re-hang your old one. This might just be the perfect thing.
Thank you again, so much, for doing this.

What a beautiful idea this is! I have been trying to find the perfect ornament for Freja for quite a while now. I would love to win this because it would be an amazing way to honor my daughter, and it would be a very meaningful ornament to me because it came from you, a mother who truly understands this loss all too well herself. (((hugs)))

Lea, what a beautiful ornament! I would love to add a personalized ornament from you to our tree in memory of Emma and Chase. xo

What a beautiful ornament! I would love to win this ornament because it would be made with love from a fellow "sister" who loves my babies as much as I do!

Nicholas' ornament is precious. I'm doing a tree just for Ella, complete with butterflies and all. Wishing you a peaceful holiday season. Thinking of Nicholas, your family, and little miss sunshine.

This ornament is beautiful!! I would love to win this ornament because I know that each ornament you create is created with the same love that you had for your Nicholas. I would love for my tree to have an ornament made with that same love. Its representative of the love we all have for our babies.

This is a beautiful ornament. When you make this for Akul you will think about him and make it specially for him and then lovingly write his name on it. What more could a lost baby mom ask for.

so pretty! i would love it because my daughter's middle name is JOY and i want to buy EVERYTHING out there at christmas time that says it. if you made me a personal one, it would be something i cant find in stores. do all of them say "peace" or can there be one made that says "joy" instead? with her name in the wings, it would say her full name, Kathlyn Joy. I have a lot of kathlyn items and joy items, but not very many that say the full name. thank you!
