Sleep tight...

I have to admit that it is sometimes very difficult to watch Madison as she sleeps.... I so vividly remember her brother, Nicholas, sleeping soundly in my arms as we said goodbye... no matter how much we screamed, prayed and begged, he slept so soundly we couldn't wake him up.

She is sweet and precious and absolutely a gift sent directly from our very own Guardian Angel in Heaven.

Guardian Angel,
pure and bright,
guard me while I sleep tonight...

Love you, baby girl

I believe that it must be very difficult.
((HUGS)) She is so pretty. I will pray for you to have some peace of mind.

Lea, she is perfect. I can't imagine, nor relate to the feelings and emotions of having a rainbow baby. I imagine feeling very bittersweet though. Nicholas will give you the strength to get through the rough days, as will your two earthly sons. Tight hugs, my friend.

What a beautiful photo of her. May her brother watch over her every night as she sleeps.

Beautiful. I have certain pictures of Gwen from when she is sleeping that I hate because they look like she is sleeping TOO peacefully. I know you get that. Hugs to you. She is one gorgeous little girl.

Lea she is breathtakingly beautiful. Your sweet Maddie will add such a feminine touch to your family. How wonderful to see her in pink blankets and I'm sure Nicholas is watching over her as she sleeps. Hugs

I just know that she is such a joy but I am sure that at times it is difficult to watch her sleep. Nicholas is watching over all of you and comforting you when you need him.

Oh my goodness yes! I STILL often stay awake and watch my boys sleep to make sure they're breathing.

Lea, When Finn first came home from the hospital I had a very difficult time. I struggled because when I looked at him, I would see Sophie. It's hard.

On Sophie's birthday, someone commented on my FB status (I think) that she was certain that Sophie had hand-picked Finn just for us-- knowing that he was exactly what we needed to help our broken hearts.

I am positive, Lea, that Nicholas hand-picked that beautiful little Madison just for you. <3

She is just gorgeous. I'm not there (quite) yet but I'm trying to prepare for the difficult emotions that bringing a rainbow home might throw up. But I suspect you can't prepare for the intensity of the love for both of them and the "missingness" of our special children.
