Your Daddy
Dear Nicholas,
Your Daddy had a rough night last night. He misses you so much. We miss you so much.
Please let him know how much you love him. I know you are watching over all of us.
PS. I got a glimpse of you today. As I was backing out of the driveway I glanced in my rear view mirror and I swear I saw your little face looking back at me. What a moment... Thank you for giving us those moments. I know they are little signs. I will take what I can get.
This one's for you Daddy - we all love you so much. Thank you for being you. xo
Daddy's Love
Your daddy loves you oh so much
I see it in his eyes.
Every time we speak of you,
He looks up to the sky.
We talk about you often
And wonder what you’d be
If you were down here with us,
With your family.
Daddy is so strong,
His strength surrounds us all.
We lean on him for comfort,
He doesn’t let us fall.
But daddy hurts so deeply,
He misses you so much.
He feels blessed to have known you
And to have felt your touch.
He’s proud to be your daddy
And to have held your hand in his.
He kissed and held you close that day
Forever you’ll be missed.
We love you buddy… xo xo

beautiful, lea. sending much love and grounding to nicholas's daddy. sam had a rough one today too. our men do so much, wish they had the same outlet and community we do. thinking of you as always.
What a beautiful tribute for your son. I know its hard to watch our hubbies so sad.
I've been thinking of you a lot the last few days, I guess because "the" appointment is quickly approaching.
((hugs)) to you and your hubby,
Jen
I know how you are feeling. I too had a rough night. I am out of town and sat in my hotel room alone crying for hours. It has been a month since we said good by to our little Noah. I am sorry you too are struggling as I am. I am praying for peace and comfort for you both.

Where would we be without our amazing husbands hey? Thanks for sharing Nicholas' Daddy with us Lea.

I am so sorry that the hubby is having a hard time. So many times fathers are overlooked because they are "strong". My heart goes out to both of you. Your poem is beautiful.
I agree, where would we be without our wonderful loving husbands. What a sweet moment between your hubby and precious little Nicholas.
I'm praying Nicholas's daddy finds some more peace and less pain. I have tears from reading about his grief. I'm hoping he finds the signs he desires.
What a beautiful picture. Too often the men are ignored when it comes to grieving for our lost children. I can't tell you how many times Shane was asked how I was doing when we lost Calvin, yet his pain was overlooked. Thanks so much for this touching post Lea, sending you hugs.
No words, just tears.
Sending love to you guys, Lea..

Sending you both so much love. xo
Thinking of you both, and wrapping you up in a hug. Wish I could do more.
Your post brought tears to my eyes. Our husbands grief is very often overlooked. Sending both of you hugs!
That pictured broke my heart. Why is is so hard to see the daddy's aching?
